The Bizarre Balenciaga 'T-Shirt Shirt' Has Left People in a State of Disbelief
That's it. We have seen everything.
Earlier this year, Zara, a Galician fast fashion retailer, got a little too carried away and came out with a "flowing skirt" that eerily looked like a traditional lungi and put a hefty price tag of 69.99 British pounds (or INR 6200) on it.
Now, taking some inspiration, high fashion label-- Balenciaga has come up with a garment that is giving sleepless nights to many.
What so bizarre about the clothing?
The "T-Shirt Shirt" from Balenciaga’s men’s autumn 2018 collection is nothing but a formal shirt sewn on top of a plain t-shirt. And if you thought that was odd, consider this, the brand also informs its customers on its website that the t-shirt shirt can be worn in two ways. That's right.
One can wear the t-shirt and leave the formal shirt hanging in the front OR wear the shirt and leave the t-shirt free hanging in the back.
Of course, the decidedly odd clothing will burn a hole in your pocket as the Spanish brand is selling the t-shirt shirt combination for USD 1,290 (INR 87,000).
For obvious reasons, the combination has left several baffled.
